Inter City Railway Society (ICRS) held its grand finale 40th Anniversary celebration at Eastleigh Works. The event was free and exclusive to ICRS Members and almost 100 descended on the Works for the event which included full access to 99% of the Works site, cab rides in three locos, a hog roast and refreshments
ICRS thanks Barry Stephens, MD of Arlington, for the unprecedented access to the site and to Bruce Knights for the loan of 07007
Network Rail, Porterbrook, 71A Loco Group, Wabtec and St Modwen are also thanked for their support and assistance in making the event a success

The end of the Yeoman era as 59002 and 59004 arrive to have the 'Y' painted out. The last ones to carry the Yeoman logo, going back to John Yeoman the man who bought the 59s to the UK and ultimately also the design for the 66
